Norske Skog Follum
Hønefoss, Norway

Follum was established in 1873 and merged with Norske Skog in 1989. After rebuilding the PM7 in 1995 this mill has strengthened its position as the main producer of speciality grades in Norske Skog and is a leading producer in its field in Europe. Follum is a mill in continuously development and is producing Super Improved Newsprint, Book paper and Coated Magazine paper. Common for these qualities are the high brightness and the high bulk.
Follum is located in the middle of the Norwegian woodland and all wood used is sourced from sustainable managed forests. All paper is certified according to PEFC or FSC and nearly all energy use at Follum comes from sustainable sources as hydro power and bio-fuel.
