Norske Skog Golbey started its newsprint production in 1992 on a greenfield site. In 1999 a second production line (PM2) was started, with a production capacity of 335,000 tonnes.
This makes Norske Skog Golbey a top competitive mill with a total capacity of nearly 600,000 tonnes per year. The mill is strategically located in the Vosges area, within easy reach of major European cities and close to important raw material supply areas. The major raw material is waste paper.
