Celebrating the opening of containerboard production at Norske Skog Golbey
More than 250 guests, including French dignitaries, Norwegian authorities, and industry partners, joined us for the historic moment being the official opening of containerboard production at our Golbey mill – the largest investment in Norske Skog’s history, totaling net EUR 330 million.
“This world-class containerboard machine marks a significant milestone for Norske Skog and everyone at Golbey. We thank all involved and look forward to delivering sustainable volumes to our customers,” said Geir Drangsland, CEO.
With an annual capacity of 550,000 tonnes, this cutting-edge, recycled-fiber-based machine positions Norske Skog as a leading independent supplier of recycled containerboard in Europe:
