Norske Skog Skogn gears up for bookpaper launch with strong progress.
Our brand name will be NOR Book. Across the site, teams are working closely together to prepare for the transition that will allow us to enter the European book paper market. Important upgrades and preparations are underway, supporting our ambition to produce both newsprint and high-quality book paper on the same machine.
This development represents an investment of NOK 40 million, giving us the flexibility to produce more than 140,000 tonnes annually. NOR Book will be produced from 100% virgin fibre and is designed to deliver industry-leading low CO₂ emissions.
