Norske Skog has issued a notice of force majeure following the earthquake in Chile

All production at the Norske Skog Bio Bio mill in Concepción, Chile has stopped after the massive earthquake on 27 February 2010. Based on the preliminary reports on damage to the mill, it will take some time to restart production. Detailed reports on the technical condition are currently not available.

The Norske Skog group will work hard to minimize negative consequences for customers and suppliers, but based on the severity of the situation, the group has issued a notice of force majeure.
