Exchange program and growth at Norske Skog

Nick's Journey to Austria! 🇦🇹 Over the past 2.5 months, Norske Skog Skogn’s process operator Nick Bäuml has been on an exchange program at Norske Skog Bruck GmbH in Austria.

Nick applied for a scholarship through Erasmus+, an EU program supporting education, training, youth, and sports in Europe, and was granted this wonderful opportunity 👏

Now back home, he looks back on the welcoming work environment at the Bruck factory and the experience of both personal and professional growth ↗️ Welcomed with open arms from day one, Nick mentions that his fluency in German also played a significant role. 
 
Everything, of course, becomes easier when there’s no language barrier. This journey has been filled with invaluable experiences, he says.
