Norske Skog present at ChooseFrance 2023
Norske Skog’s CEO Sven Ombudstvedt and Yves Bailly, MD of Norske Skog Golbey, recently took part in the ChooseFrance business summit, where they and other business leaders met with the President of France Emmanuel Macron and other top officials, including State Secretary for Ecology Bérangère Couillard (photo).

Fragment Design Studio is a Norwegian start-up developing Klikkboks – a line of sustainable and flexible storage furniture. It is made from CEBICO, Norske Skogs environmentally friendly alternative to thermoplastic.

Geir Drangsland, representing the largest owner group of Norske Skog, was today elected new chair of the board in Norske Skog. Being the CEO and the main owner in the stocklisted Byggma ASA, which is well known for several building material brands.

In 2022, the Skogn mill produced more than 500,000 tonnes of newsprint. Measured in meters of newsprint produced per employee, the mill reached a new all-time high production record.
Norske Skog receives A- rating from CDP on climate change
Norske Skog has received a favorable rating of A- on CDP Climate Change. The A- rating ranks Norske Skog as one of the top 20 companies in Norway on climate change action, acknowledging the company’s effort to cut emissions and manage environmental impact throughout its value chain.
